Over the last few years we have had many trips up the Eureka Tower to provide our mobile coffee cart service to guests for corporate functions and events. It is one of the best views in Melbourne and not one that too many barista’s get to see! We consider ourselves very lucky to be able to work in such a great event space with other like minded hospitality professionals.
Some of the views over the Melbourne CBD are simply amazing as the sun rises and is something you need to see to believe! THe picture above was on an overcast morning however an hour or so into service the cloud lifted and the view became clearer as the morning went on. This event was for the staff at AFL headquarters.
One of the best parts of loading our mobile coffee cart up 89 floors into the function room at Eureka is the that sometimes their is also a few surprises on the guest list. As you will see below, one of the best was the function we did for Channel 9 and The Voice and none other than Ricky Martin and Livinia Nixon turned up along with Jackson Thomas to sing a few tunes!
All of the staff and Channel 9 and The Voice were a fun bunch to work with alongside the very organised Eureka 89 staff.

Guests arrived at the new Symbion Headquarters in Keysborough for the launch of their new facility. The event styling seen the use of white decor so we also organised plain white coffee cups to match in with the theme for the day. Delegates enjoyed a nice fresh coffee from us before moving on in small groups for mini tours of the new premises.
The building was then official opened after a brief presentation by local members of parliament.
Adtrans and Iveco Trucks celebrated their 100th birthday in style by providing our mobile coffee cart service to all staff at their Laverton North Truck Centre thanks to Brandscapes taking car of all catering requirments. It was an early start at 6am and attracted the CEO of the company along with all the senior managers to present to the staff and suppliers about the history of the company right back to its starting days in 1913.
It was very interesting hearing about how the company started and the history behind some of the original leaders of the company. We had the typical morning coffee rush from 6am-7am before everyone was settled in for the presentation to start. Some of the videos shown were of some existing customers right back to early suppliers and different aspects of the entire business and wider supply chain. They also showed video footage of the massive fundraising event held to raise funds for their chosen charities.
We noticed some high profile business people attended their gala dinner including Mark Bouris from Yellow Brick Road and Carl Stefanovic presenting the night just to name a few. The morning seemed to fly by and after the presentations all the staff were also treated to bacon and egg rolls to get them going for the day!
Coffee first followed by a great warm breakfast, what more could you ask for 🙂
We thank Brandscapes for hosting the event along with Adtrans and Iveco Trucks for having us onsite to provide our mobile coffee cart service for the morning.
We had the pleasure of providing one of our coffee carts to Victory Motorcycles in Melbourne to cater for their morning tea to fuel all the riders up before taking off on their ride up around in country Victoria. We set the cart up in store at the shop around an hour before all the riders turned up so we were ready to roll. Once we put a few test shots through the machine the coffee aroma spread through the shop which meant that as all the guests arrived the could just follow their nose to where to good stuff was being served. Karine managed to get a picture with Dermott Brereton as he arrived to join the guys on the ride for the day!

After we had served the majority of the riders their first coffee, we couldn’t help but get some shots on the bikes in the showroom. They had a wide range of bikes but I jumped on my favourite to get the pic below. If I ever win tattslotto, I will be spending up big on the bike below although not sure if it would take hooking the coffee cart trailer up to it!
